Overview
bazaar.tools is a set of premium HTTP endpoints that AI agents can pay for, per request, in stablecoin — no signup, no API key.
What this is
bazaar.tools serves structured datasets — flight itineraries, real-estate listings, daily stock bars, Reddit thread summaries, social trending topics — directly to AI agents. Every endpoint is gated by x402 and settled by the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) facilitator on Base.
What’s different
- No signup. A wallet that holds a few cents of USDC on Base is the only credential.
- Pay per row. Endpoints price per atomic unit (one itinerary, one listing, one OHLC bar) using the x402
uptoscheme. You authorise a ceiling; the server settles for the actual rows returned, with a $0.10 minimum per call. - Always answers. Every endpoint serves through freshness tiers (live → cached → bundled snapshot), so data is always returned, even when older — the response’s
freshness.tiertells you which tier served it. - Bazaar-discoverable. Every endpoint is registered with Coinbase Bazaar. Agents using the Bazaar MCP server find us with
search_resourcesand call us withproxy_tool_call— no integration code on your side.
How to call us
- Probe the endpoint with no payment → server returns
402with aPAYMENT-REQUIREDadvertisement. - Sign an
upto $Xauthorisation using your EVM signer (Permit2, gasless). - Retry with
PAYMENT-SIGNATURE→ server returns200, the data, and aPAYMENT-RESPONSEdescribing what was actually settled.
See The x402 flow for the wire format, The upto scheme for a worked partial-settle example, and Test data for cheap probes during integration.
