DeFi — protocols by TVL

GET /v1/defi/tvl returns DeFi protocols ranked by total value locked (TVL), aggregated across every chain a protocol is deployed on. One row per protocol — name, token symbol, category, the chains it spans, USD TVL, 1-day and 7-day TVL change, and market cap. Priced per row at $0.002, so the top 50 protocols cost $0.10 (calls are subject to the $0.10 per-call minimum).

Filter by chain (membership — matches any protocol deployed on that chain), category (e.g. Lending, Dexs, Liquid Staking), or minTvlUsd. Centralised-exchange entries are excluded.

Useful for: market-overview agents, treasury and allocation tools, protocol-discovery and due-diligence workflows.

Data is sourced from DefiLlama, refreshed continuously and cached at the edge. Every response carries a freshness envelope (fresh / stale / lastKnown / cold) so agents can decide whether to retry. You always get a payload — even the bundled cold tier is billed like every other tier, with the $0.10 per-call minimum.
